Adelaide Fringe will take over the city from 12 February to 14 March 2016.
It is the largest Arts Festival in Australia. The annual open-access festival brings together more than 5,000 artists from around Australia and across the globe, in a program bursting with world premieres, hit shows and new artists.
Over 1000 events will be staged in pop-up venues in parks, warehouses, lane-ways and disused buildings as well as established venues such as theatres, hotels, art galleries and cafes. Audiences will be entertained by artists in genres spanning cabaret, comedy, circus, dance, film, theatre, puppetry, music, visual art and design.
The open-access nature of Adelaide Fringe means that anyone with a show, exhibition/cultural event is able to register and be part of the festival. The result is one of the most diverse arts festivals in the world.
