Silica is also a trace mineral found in berries that assists with collagen formation, as well as helping improve your skin’s hydration and elasticity.
Both the yoghurt and Healthy Chef Protein provide plenty of protein; a key nutrient for ageless, beautiful skin. Your skin, hair and nails are made up of protein, so it’s important to include it in your diet to maintain their health. This creamy smoothie is also high in the amino acids L-lysine and L-proline, which are essential for the creation of collagen.
1/2 cup Hibiscus + Rosehip tea – chilled
1/2 cup strawberries
1 cup ice
1 tablespoon Healthy Chef Protein
1 teaspoon raw honey
1/2 cup natural Greek Style yoghurt
Combine Hibiscus + Rosehip tea, strawberries, ice, raw honey and Greek Style yoghurt into a high speed blender.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour into a your favourite bowl.
Top with fresh berries and and enjoy.
