The comedic genius of Melissa MacCarthy as Diana, in all her permed and in your face glory is perfectly balanced by the serious, semi-stick in the mud character of Jason Bateman as Sandy, a frustrated Dad who has taken the law into his own hands. Seth Gordon has managed to bring out the best and worst of both characters to bring us belly laughs and giggles, a few great one liners and some home truths about family security, love and greed. Oh and the ease of credit card forgery!
It lived up to all my expectations and turned me into that giggling Gerty on the plane that kept everyone else up at sleep o’clock. A great movie, bring out the popcorn and get ready for a great flick.
